Panchatantra Story: Stunning Tale of the Brahmins and Lion
Once upon a time, in a faraway land filled with tall trees, sparkling rivers, and golden sunshine, there lived two clever Brahmins. Brahmins are wise men who know many things, like stories about the animals and secrets of nature. These two Brahmins loved to travel and explore forests, but one day, they found themselves in a bit of trouble!
The Stunning Tale Begins in a Lush Forest
The stunning tale of the Brahmins and lion begins in a beautiful forest where the birds sang sweet songs and the flowers swayed gently in the breeze. The two Brahmins, named Arun and Ravi, walked slowly through the green leaves, their sandals crunching on the soft earth.
“Look, Arun,” said Ravi, pointing to some shiny fruits hanging from a tree. “Let’s rest here and enjoy the fresh fruits.”
Arun smiled, “A good idea! We’ve been walking for a long time.”
As they ate the juicy fruits, little did they know, a big lion was watching them from behind the thick bushes. His golden mane shimmered in the sunlight, and his eyes sparkled like emerald gems.
The Brahmins Meet the Lion
Suddenly, the lion stepped out with a loud roar that echoed through the forest. The two Brahmins were startled and quickly stood up, trying not to show their fear.
“Please don’t hurt us, mighty lion,” Arun said politely, bowing his head a little. “We mean no harm. We are just travelers.”
The lion growled softly instead of roaring again. He was not angry but very hungry and a little lonely. “I have been alone in this forest for many days with no friend to talk to,” the lion said sadly. “Will you be my friends?”
Ravi and Arun looked at each other and then smiled. “We can be your friends,” said Ravi kindly. “But first, we must make sure you are not too hungry. Then, we can find a way to help you.”
The Brahmins’ Clever Plan to Help the Lion
The Brahmins thought hard. Arun said, “I have an idea! We can help you find food, so you won’t be hungry.”
The lion’s eyes brightened. “Oh, that would be wonderful!”
Ravi nodded. “Tomorrow, we will come back with some food for you.”
That night, under the shiny stars, the Brahmins made a plan. They decided to bring the lion some meat they would find with friendly hunters nearby. But they also wanted to teach the lion to be kind, so animals and people could live happily in the forest.
The Next Day in the Forest
The next morning, Ravi and Arun returned with some fresh meat wrapped in big green leaves. The lion’s tail wagged like a happy puppy’s tail as he saw the food.
“Here you go, dear lion,” said Arun, offering the food carefully.
The lion sniffed the meat, then ate it slowly. “Thank you, my friends. I promise to be gentle and kind.”
The Brahmins smiled warmly. “We believe kindness can make everyone stronger,” said Ravi.
A New Friendship Blossoms
Days passed, and the lion kept his promise. He never scared the other animals. Instead, he helped them. When the little rabbits were cold, the lion let them hide in his warm mane. When the monkeys were thirsty, the lion led them to clear river spots.
The forest was happier than ever! Birds sang louder, flowers bloomed brighter, and the sun seemed to shine just for them.
One day, a fierce tiger came into the forest, roaring fiercely and scaring everyone. But the lion stood tall and calm. “This forest is a place of peace,” he said loudly. The tiger growled but saw the lion’s kind eyes and strong heart. Slowly, the tiger left, promising never to scare the forest friends again.
The Stunning Tale of the Brahmins and Lion’s Lesson
Arun and Ravi smiled from a distance, knowing their kindness had changed the forest forever. The lion, once lonely and hungry, was now a brave and gentle king.
A Lesson for All
This amazing story reminds us that kindness can turn fear into friendship. When we help others and show them love, even the fiercest hearts can become soft and gentle.
And so, children, when you see someone feeling lonely or sad, remember the lion and the Brahmins. A little kindness and care can create wonderful friendships and make the world a happier place.
Now, close your eyes, and imagine the soft breeze in the forest, the warm sun on your face, and the friends – big and small – all living happily together under the bright blue sky.
Goodnight, little one. Sweet dreams of magical forests and kind hearts! 🌟🦁🍃
